I like to scout around on Instagram for custom cars and bikes, new brands, independent awesomeness and general visual loveliness. On one of these perusals I came across Black Stitch Supply Co and gave them a follow because their page had all of the above and it turns out they create pretty good apparel and accessories. Hand printed in the UK and designed by the founder Drew Collins – who is an adventurer, film maker and photographer – Black Stitch Supply Co. just started selling their threads this month.
Their first collection, COLLECTION01, was primarily inspired by the motorcycle world; with skulls, spoked wheels and cafe racers adorning baseball tops and jersey tees. These pieces are right up my street because I like simple, stylish and functional when it comes to clothes and these guys produce just that. The fact they are like-minded petrol heads, visionaries, hard workers, dreamers and rock ‘n’ rollers just makes me like them even more.
Black Stitch Supply Co. didn’t ask me to blog about them, I just thought I would because small brands like this – born from passion and a love for life – are an inspiration. So here’s me playing with a sexy Defender 90 pick-up and my little Honda SL100 wearing some Black Stitch Supply Co tops – perfect for the workshop, riding, driving and just generally living the petrol head culture.
