As you may or may not know I’m obsessed with cars – custom classics especially. I’m also one half of Skull & Pistons Garage where we eat, sleep and breath custom classic cars and bikes. However just lately I’ve also been lucky enough to be part of Goblin Works Garage…
Goblin Works was an engineering company from the 1970’s that sadly went out of business. My friend, extreme engineer Jimmy de Ville, bought the company and decided to put together a team of petrol heads to build custom cars and bikes. So along with Jimmy and my other talented friend Anthony Partridge, who’s an epic custom bike designer and builder, we make up Goblin Works Garage. Together we design and create custom builds to ruffle feathers, challenge perceptions, inspire, infuriate and indulge petrol head fantasies. Not only are we building a bunch of cool stuff, we’re doing it on Quest in the UK and across various Discovery networks internationally – so you can watch us deal with the challenges that come with building custom cars and bikes.
Throughout the series we design and build six custom classic cars and four custom motorcycles; it’s been one hell of a ride and I know you’ll find it entertaining. We have an absolute blast working together and we truly love what we’ve created. The whole thing has been a petrol flavoured adventure that I never want to end! It’s been so difficult not talking about the amazing things we’ve been making, so I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to share this with you finally.
We all bring very different skills and experience to the table and together Jimmy, Ant and I are a custom dream team. I’ve learned so much from the boys, I’m not sure they’ve learned anything from me but I’ve definitely made them laugh – mostly at me rather than with me as the series will reveal. Whether you love or hate what we do it can’t be denied that we’ve worked incredibly hard to achieve it. Goblin Works Garage is built from a pure passion for engineering, speed, custom design and individuality. With a mixture of genius, lunacy and imagination Goblin Works Garage is going to leave an impression and get people talking and that’s what we want – to mix things up.
Goblin Works Garage launches on Thursday January 11th at 9pm on Quest UK, and The Discovery Channel internationally (check your local listings) – no matter where you’re from you can’t escape us because we’re going global baby!
Goblin Works Garage will also be at The NEC Classic Motor Show on 10th, 11th & 12th of November with a few of our builds to give you a taste of what’s coming. I hope you’re ready…
